Spanish Sahara is a teaser track released last week for Foals upcoming album Total Life Forever, and the accompanying video has some beautiful visuals in it.

The director Dave Ma has worked with Foals a couple of times before (Balloons & Olympic Airways) and although his work tends to employ a very cool polarising/filter look, there is something warm and relaxing about the videos that i really enjoy. More examples after the break.

This video is a quick showcase of some of apples most noteworthy products from the last 34 years, right up to the iPad that was announced last month. The thing that makes it interesting is that each one is a fully realised 3D rendering done in 3D Studio Max and v-Ray Render. Whats more impressive is that it only took them 10 days to complete!

Anyone over in New York at the moment for fashion week who has a spare minute between viewing shows or discussing what unusual head piece Tavi Gevinson might possibly be wearing tomorrow, should really take a trip to the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) to check out the Tim Burton Exhibition that is currently showing.

Along with the usual array of film memorabilia, including the very small looking Cat Woman leather all in one suit that Michelle Pfeiffer wore in Batman Returns and a giant Beetlejuice sandworm jaw, there is a fantastic selection of personal art work from Burton’s early life as an animator, when clearly his day job was not providing the best outlet for his vividly creative imagination. The 1980-86 pencil on animation paper doodles collection is not only a must see, but also quite amusing… images after the jump.

Viral marketing campaigns are becoming the de-facto way of creating hype before the launch of a new product or film, and i love nothing more when companies push the boundaries and come up with an innovative way of grabbing your attention..

A couple of different campaigns that have really impressed me recently are the “Wario Land Shake It” youtube page, and Apples iPod touch tilt banner that was on yahoo games (video above).  Both of these adverts integrate themselves into the whole website rather than just being limited to their advertising space, which is a technique that really does make you stop and pay attention.

Apple also created a range of “Mac vs PC” campaigns that appeared on websites such as the New York Times and CNN, involving multiple placements on the page that interacted with each other. Videos after the break:

The optimus maximus keyboard from the industrial design group Art. Lebedev Studio is any gadget freaks dream, but at almost £1500 its not an item that is going to be gracing many peoples desks (including mine!!).

It is made up of 113 keys, each with their own OLED display capable of displaying a range of images and videos. The whole keyboard can be programmed to work seamlessly with any application you choose, displaying pictures instead of letters for the important keyboard shortcuts. This makes using programs like Illustrator or Photoshop an absolute breeze. And lets face it, its damn sexy as well!!

Us Brits always like to talk about the weather, especially when we are in the middle of a chaos causing cold snap!
